Discover the fascinating world of Venetian nobility and wine production at Castello Roncade.

The Castello stands right in the heart of Roncade, a picturesque small town in the Venetian inland just 30min drive from Lido di Jesolo/Cavallino-Treporti or 45min from Caorle..With its pre-Palladian Villa surrounded by medieval walls, it is a majestic Renaissance complex dated back to the 1508. The long-standing agricultural tradition of Veneto is still kept in high esteem at Castello with 110 hectares of vineyards where some excellent wines are produced.At the end of the XIX century the Castello was sold to the Ciani Bassetti family, who is still today the owner of the entire property.

The Castello and winery is open to the public and its guided tours all begin with the history of the Castello di Roncade and continues with a visit to the main hall of the Villa, a walk in the Brolo - the Villa's vineyard - and a visit to the aging cellar under the walls. At the end a Winetasting paired with some local food.
